Well, I don't know where the year went but our little guy is officially a toddler! He started in the toddler class room a few days before his birthday so we were able to celebrate with his new friends and our favorite teacher & babysitter.
He immediately felt jipped that he got only a 1/2 a cupcake.
Jack joined us, not like we had to twist his arm, we basically had him at "cup...".
Jack's reaction when asked if he wants another one.
Cutie pie.
Bonding over sugar.
Total hog.
Make sure you didn't miss any Jack.
Look Jack can't even take his eyes off all the crumbs on the table to take a picture with me!
Awe.
This was the scene within 3 seconds of me pulling out of the parking lot that night.
These were Drew's 2 big gifts, the classic Cozy Coupe and a giant teddy bear (see I did say big),which Dan insisted on.
Drew going in for "uppies" from Mr Bear.
I will admit it, he was an instant hit, especially when daddy got behind him and talked in his "bear" voice.
Now this is livin'.
Mr. Bear hitching a ride.
After all that rolling around with the bear, the static was out of control!
BEEP...BEEP!
Crazy man.
We celebrated Drew's birthday at home that weekend with a little cake and a few gifts that were sent from family, thank you everyone!
Jack likes to snuggle with Mr Bear and a blankie.
If you live near a Costco and you have little kids, go get this bear...I'm telling you!
We went with the cookie monster theme this year. I found a 3D cake that was so much cuter and he was holding an actual cookie shaped like a "1". When I showed it to the cake place and they told me the price, knowing it was just the 4 of us I quickly asked for plan B. I died when I saw this, first of all, it was HUGE and second, the "1" looks like cookie monster is holding on to a part of his anatomy. Let's just leave it at that.
The hat started out fine and then...
...was quickly ripped off.
Make a wish!
First bite, jury was out.
Obviously Jack was pretty psyched.
I think he wore more of it then he ate but it was pretty funny.
Apparently Drew needed to take turns with his hat.
Very proud of his mess.
Dexter may be partially blind and deaf but he was on it when it came time to clean up!
Ok so after a quick bath to clean up we moved on to some gifts. He would not let go of this card from Grandma Hart.
Grandpa & Grandma Pickering sent the See-N-Say and Drew has been having fun practicing how all the animals go.
What a big boy!
We are up to 6 teeth now. That's 6 more than Jack had at this age.
For whatever reason the boys like to wrestle on Mr Bear, usually Drew starts it.
Oh, can he wiggle his way out???
And Drew gets the pin...as it should be.
