Boo At The Zoo

We had trick-or-treat at the zoo last night and the boys had a lot of fun!  Jack was "Snake Eyes" from GI Joe and Drew was supposed to be Superman, but being the diva he is...he insisted at the last minute "Me want to be Spida-man!  NO SOUPMAN...SPIDA-MAN"!  Luckily we had Jack's old costume!

They also had some amazing pumpkin sculptor's there working their magic, it was pretty awesome!

Jim's Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we met up with Jack's 4K class at Jim's Pumpkin Patch.  We had a sunny, crisp Fall day and a lot of fun playing and picking pumpkins!

The Glow Run

I completed my 2nd 5K in September, The Glow Run!!!  A night time run with everyone decorated with all kinds of glow-in-the-dark paraphernalia and every 1/2 mile you run through a black light tunnel.  We had a beautiful night and it was a blast!

My friends Shelly & Chrissy did it with me and Shelly's mom joined us for her first 5K after watching us do the last one and she did an awesome job!

Wings Over Waukesha Air Show

The airshow was a little disappointing this year, it was hot, there wasn't a lot of shade and they didn't have the big planes open for the kids to explore like in years past.  I think the highlight was the ride in the Army jeep with this crazy military guy driving like a lunatic.  Jack almost fell out on one turn and was a little scared, Drew on the other hand seemed to love it!

Memorial Day Yard Work

It sure has been awhile!  Just found this draft all set up and ready to go.  I have a couple of oldies so bare with me as I try to get caught up!

Daddy & Jack were on a mission to cut down a dead tree branch hanging over the house (update, this tree has since been removed), while Drew was on a mission to beat down my wind chime with a sword!  LOL We also got the flower beds mulched and I planted over 220 flowers in the middle flower bed!  Sorry some of these shots from my camera are not very clear but you get the idea.
