Happy Easter!!!

Jack was really involved with coloring eggs this year which was so much fun, of course he had to do everything by himself which resulted in a few cracked eggs but one happy Jack!

Easter weekend didn't start off so well.  It was a little touch and go with a lot of sassy "NO's!"  Luckily on Saturday a bunny was hopping across the backyard and we told Jack that it was the Easter bunny's scout to see if he was being a good boy.  Only good boys get treats on Easter...that changed his tune and he couldn't wait to get home Sunday morning after having "pa-cakes at perkins" to see if the bunny came.  Luckily Auntie Hope came through for all of us (and then some) so he had a very good Easter!

Jack had so much fun finding eggs all around the house and even more fun when he found out there were "treats" inside!

I think this one really captured just how much fun he was having!

He couldn't believe the bunny even hid them in his slippers and gave his snake one to "hold".

PEEPS!!!

This was a really cute picnic basket that he loved and made sure to "feed" all of us, even Dolly & Dexter.

Nothing like the smell of a fresh peep!  Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend and a special thank you to Auntie Hope!

Jack & The Bunny

Jack did an awesome job with the Easter Bunny this year!  He shook his hand and everything!  He has taken a liking to his Green Bay Packers jersey and refers to it as "Pack-Pack".

Getting Closer

Well I keep trying to add some new photos but our computer is not cooperating right now.  Here is an ultrasound photo from April 1st, which I snapped with my phone hence the glare at the bottom.  That's a hand right next to his mouth...too cute!  I already think he looks like Jack!  He has a lot of hair too which may explain the heartburn, or at least that's what they say.  I will be 37 weeks this Sunday so only about 3 weeks left to go.  Aside from allergies and the constant night time trips to the bathroom every 2 hours, I am hanging in there.  We are all very excited for his arrival.  Jack is reading his big brother book a lot and wants to sing the baby a song when he comes.  When asked what song, his breaks into a one word song of "Rain - bow, Rain - bow...not sure if that is from daycare or what but he will sing a good 10 verses of it!  He talks to and kisses my belly and waves "hi" to him which is hysterical.
