At the end of September Kohl's rents out the Six Flags in Gurnee, IL for their employees and their friends & family so this year we made a weekend out of it. It's great because there are no lines for anything and the park is decorated for Halloween. Our friends from swim met us there and Jack & Alex had a great time, I think they rode this boat ride 3 times in a row! Jack was far less timid of the rides this year and went on pretty much everything he was allowed to. He even went on his first "big boy" rollercoaster with mommy, The Little Dipper. We spent a full 8 hours at the park and left shortly after the Halloween monsters started coming out. We stayed at Key Lime Cove which is right next door and is a crazy fun indoor water park hotel.
